Being a high profile writer can't be good for undercover

Love this movie.

But one thing I always found to be flawed is that Dennehy's character is high profile after surviving the Nixon robbery and becoming a best selling author. So why in the hell would he go into undercover work? Not a good idea when your face is recognizeable.

Haha I too thought the scene where he was "undercover" on the docks was hilariously stupid. We'd just been shown Dennehy's picture on the cover of his huge bestseller, but he's not even in disguise! I'm surprised the crooks didn't ask him for his autograph.
