Foreshadowing in 'A Zed and Two Noughts'

In Peter Greenaway's prior film A Zed & Two Noughts, there's an interesting bit of foreshadowing in the newspaper...

Interesting because the events of The Belly of an Architect actually take place before the story of A Zed & Two Noughts, whereas the actual film came afterwards. It's also intriguing that Stourley's suicide precedes the death of Oswald and Oliver's wives by one day.

Apparently the two films are thematically connected in some significant way.
