Missing scene in Netflix version

This is one of my favorite films, heist genre or otherwise. I saw it three times in the theater at the time of its release and had the VHS version. Hard to believe it's still not out in a general DVD release. So when I saw it available to stream live on Netflix, I watched it. Much to my surprise, there was at least one scene that was MISSING. It was the scene immediately following the one in which Derek Newark jams the sawed-off shotgun between Bernard Hill's legs and begs him to say "no" to the caper. Hill is then seen sitting in the bathroom in his boxer shorts, drinking his Scotch, with his pants draped over a railing. The little girl in the film (the "nanny's" daughter) comes up to Hill and says rather pointedly, "You've soiled your trousers." He awkwardly confirms the fact, and she goes away. That scene simply was gone. I wonder what other scenes may have been cut. Why would that scene be deliberately edited out? Still one of my faves.

This was shown on the UK channel ITV in the late 80's, early 90's and was in two parts, if memory serves, running about 90mins each. Taking out the adverts, the parts would have been about 75-77mins each. I've just got the UK Anchor Bay DVD, which runs 117mins. So there's at least another version running 30/33mins longer! Not sure if it was ever repeated, pretty sure that version has never been on video/DVD.
