Not a Dream!

You know how some memories from your childhood seem like dreams? I remembered in some way, watching this video as a child, but it was so long ago, and i could never find it again, that i thought maybe it never existed. I remembered the song that the sisters sing: "what would you do without us? no pain no worry no fuss" or something like that. and the sculptures coming to life in the garden. I cant believe ive found it again cause its on dvd now! its so lovely. this is the reason why i hated the disney version as a child. this is so good. its so artistic, and dreamy. i just had to post my nostalgic joy. yay.

Haha, I used to think the part with the sculptures in the garden was a dream, too! When I got a little older I realized it must have been from a movie. But that was such a nice scene...

Well oddly, the whole movie looks like a dream. Not that it's "so beautiful it seems like a dream" lol.. but I don't know.. it's just so peaceful and quiet.

I thought this film was a dream, as well...my mother could not remember me watching it, so I figured I just made it all up in my head.

The same thing happened with me with Return to Oz. Just a few years ago, I happened upon Oz at Kmart, and was so excited. I told my mom, "I thought I had made this movie up." I started looking around more, found out she remembered The Frog Prince, and found this movie.

I just got it the other day from Amazon. I watched it and had many good memories, and found myself singing along.

For the longest time no one else remembered this version of Beauty and the Beast. I was so happy when I bought this movie from Borders because then I could prove I wasn't crazy. LOL

Its showing on tv right now and im so excited.. I also watched it as a kid and loved it!! I had it on video at the time but over the years it got lost or recordedover.. I love this song 'if you see with yourheart' .. So many memories!! Im so excited im seeing this again! :))

I have to return some video tapes...
