What really get me is the production values are not bad for a eighties B-movies. The director must be independently wealthy to have had the resources to make this movie. I can not imagine a studio backing such a silly script.

True, about a year ago I bought the custom DVD of Beaks along with other horror films not released on DVD at a horror convention, I just got around to watching it now. It really was so bad it was entertaining, I have always loved 70s, 80s, and 90s B horror films and usually even enjoy the bad ones. This was certainly one of the bad films that is enjoyable. I gave it a 4/10 just for its campiness and entertainment value.
