I just had to comment that I don't remember the last time i enjoyed the writing and performances in a movie as much as I did while watching this...obviously Rourke is unbelievable, and every time he speaks he says something incredibly poetic (especially for such a lush,) but all the supporting characters are great as well.

I'm happy I found this gem!
