Why change a perfectly good title ?

"Back to the Beach" is a great title and its name harkens back to the Frankie & Annette movies from the 60s. "Malibu Beach Girls" just sounds like a generic softcore drive-in quickie from the seventies. Bleh.

What do you mean? Are they changing the title for re-release or something? Or - please, lord, NO - thinking of a remake?
