Muppet Babies Episode Cross-Over Of This Movie

I was just watching an episode of Muppet Babies on Youtube called "Beach Blanket Babies", and I was wondering if they are parodying some of this movie.

I have never seen this movie, so I am guessing here.

Was there a guitar playing Frankie Avalon in this??

Piggy asks Kermit who is parodying Frankie Avalon to sing a song on the guitar, because "that's what the cute boy always does in these beach movies, silly".

Also is there 2 guys who pull up to the beach on motorcycles in this movie like Gonzo and Animal do during their beach party...

Is there a surfing contest in this movie like they do in the episode..

What are the purposes of signatures!!..

Aww you're young. That's cute. No it's not about this movie. Back in the day before Back to the Beach, Frankie & Annette did a movie called Beach Blanket Bingo. You should look up their IMDB pages & you would have found this out. They always did the beach party movies.

The title of the Muppet Babies episode was Beach Blanket Babies, so I am betting the kids were parodying the Frankie and Annete movie, Beach Blanket Bingo.

What are the purposes of signatures!!..
