I'm watching the movie right now, and Stevie is in for just a minute or so, and they don't play the complete "Pipeline." This movie is really stupid -- probably intentionally so -- but it has great music!

I saw this movie back in the 80's when I was young and had no idea who SRV was and never really knew who the cool guitar guy was in the movie. I could deduce at the time that he was great an damn his look was friggin awesome with that sweet hat and his clothes blowing in the wind. Man he was rad. Then I saw a documentary on SRV yesterday an they showed a clip of him in the movie yet never mentioned the movie at all. Overall it was a satisfying docu about a really great artist who left us too early
