There's one thing missing from this movie...

I adore this film. I have it on tape and DVD and have watched it maybe 20 times. The whole message in this movie is how much she falls in love with Elizabeth, and at the very end, when she comes home and rocks her in the chair, I fully expected the last words in the movie to be "I love you." Ironically, we never hear it uttered at all.

I do agree, it would have been nice to hear those words but I thought it was SO sweet for her to walk in and hear Elizabeth call her Mama. Considering how JC never wanted kids or the family life, it was so sweet to see that someone made Elizabeth feel so loved that she could call her Mama.
