I think I must have dozed off because I don't remember this scene! I saw the bit where JC got fired from her job and then she moved to Vermont. But after that Steven was never mentioned again and the doctor came onto the scene. So what happened to him?

An adoption was set up but JC didn't care for the family. JC and Elizabeth met Steven at the train. He was surprised to still see Elizabeth. After that, you see the movers coming to the condo moving some things out.

shareIf you were watching it on the TV Guide channel don't beat yourself up; I saw it on there recently and couldn't believe what a horrible chop job they did cutting it down for time (even beyond the original edits for television.) They cut out numerous important scenes.
