I think the whole point is women worked themselves almost to death in the 80's. She didn't even realize she wanted a family because she was so focused on work and being the best. The movie isn't anti feminism, it's showing that sometimes your path changes--and she adapted.

It also made the point that it was a lot easier for men to have it all than it was for women to have it all. And sometimes even we don't know what we want ourselves until it's shoved upon us despite our protests,
