dated and unfunny

I tried to like this movie, but it was the same case scenario than "Under the Tuscan Sun", two comedies which seem to get a lot of praise but I found them dumb and unbearable. I think the movie repeats the same old jokes and they get dry very soon. Keaton is likable at the beginning but as the movie progresses she becomes more and more slappable, and the movie takes a turn for the worse when it starts becoming ridiculous. Yes, this is light comedy but watching it now I did not feel it worked, maybe in the 80's it did.
