1. Aguirre: Wrath Of God The final sweeping shot of lonely Aguirre on that boat, beaten by nature but still having deluded dreams of building his empire
2. City Lights She can see for the first time
3.Au Hasard Balthazar Balthazar finds his place in the world among the sheep
4. Au Revoir Les Enfants The most chilling voice over I've ever heard
5. The 400 Blows Antoine Doinel finally sees the ocean and Truffaut's freeze-frame captures the perfect moment in time

Au Revoir, Les Enfants The tears that slowly appear in Julien's eyes.
The Bicycle Thief Bruno takes his father's hand.
Blazing Saddles Bart and Jim ride off into the sunset - in a Cadillac.
Brazil "He's gone."
Bringing Up Baby The brontosaurus collapses.
Chinatown "Forget it, Jake - it's Chinatown."
City Lights "You can see now?"
Dr. Strangelove "Mein Führer! I can walk!" and "We'll Meet Again"
Lemon Sky "Lights."
Local Hero The return to Houston, and the final phone call.

In addition to Au Hasard Balthasar, I'd add the endings to Mouchette and Le procès de Jeanne d'Arc. I have a thing for martyrdom.
