Yes, there was a soundtrack album!

Rhino Records released the soundtrack album for Assault Of The Killer Bimbos on vinyl back in 1988, and ever since I for one have not stopped singing the new wave style of "Shopping For Boys," and "Kiss & Tell," plus the dance pop of "Bimbo Breakdown," "Hot Plastic," and "I've Been Watching You"! I also love "Yo-Yo" since I knew artist Linda Strick. Here are the tracks:

SIDE 1:
I've Been Watching You --Knight & Day
Do Me Right --Fierce
Yo-Yo --Linda Strick
Kiss & Tell --Attila The Hen
Bimbo Breakdown --The Billion Dollar Babies

SIDE 2:
All The Way --Lois Blaisch
Head For Heartbreak --Andy Landis & Rockslide
Shopping For Boys --Third Language
Mister Right --Mavis Vegas Davis
Hot Plastic --The Idolls

Most of the songs are cheesy 1980s pop for sure, but what the heck it offered some smiles!

where can u find the soundtrack?

The soundtrack was released only on vinyl and cassette on Rhino Records when the film first came out, so of course those are long out of print. I'd say by checking out ebay or gemm.com you can hunt them down... some good tracks, some not so great... but worth having!

Hi! I purchased the vinyl album on EBay as a collector item. I AM THE ORIGINAL WRITER AND SINGER OF THE YO-YO SONG!
As luck would have it, I wrote the song and recorded it with local band members in a studio in Raleigh, North Carolina. The studio owner did a lot of the guitar music. It got played on a local radio station. The guy who wrote the song Two Of Hearts just happened to be in the area and came to the studio to record some music. He asked the owner of JAG studio if he had any new music he would like him to hear. He gave him Yo-Yo to listen to and the rest is history!
I would love to get the ol' group together for a reunion, but everyone has gone in seperate directions. If you would like to support having Yo-Yo played on the radio, PLEASE help.
I would like to do it to raise money for multiple sclerosis, as I have the disease now going on 11 years.
Please help in the campaign!
