3½) Very expensive watches shatter to pieces when dropped from no higher than your waist, but are unharmed when dropped from several feet up in the air straight down on a concrete floor.
4) Willy got the mo-fo right between the eyes (can't say this enough times).
5) When you left your headlights on, and it suddenly starts to rain (going from the far right of the screen to your head), you better forget about the car and get your ass back inside!
6) Owlheads are pretty cool.
7) If you can't find your owlhead, just use the spare.
8) If the suspected killer is sitting still, and has both his hands tied, it's probably a good idea to discover who he really is, before hacking away at his body with an axe.
9) Two random cops sitting in a car in the pouring rain doesn't neccesarily always die in horror movies.
10) Always take the safety off of a gun before attempting to use it to kill a psychopath.

Haha, yeah me too.. and they didn't even get to confront the bad guy! I was like, "WTF??" when she escaped to their car, and nothing happened to the cops.
Yup, that's what the (un-)credits say, Soavi himself was the Young Cop. Perhaps that was why he didn't die.
