Well that was a waste

The first five to ten minutes were great.

Unfortunately the re-release trailers had all the best bits, and the whole promotion campaign was misleading as hell.

The only actual scenes with the ninjas took place five minutes from the beginning and five minutes from the end. In between we get worse than badly coreographed repetitive tickling matches. And boring as hell 'dramatic scenes' with ridiculously bad acting.

That's basically what confused me the most, I understand that some martial arts flicks have pretty *beep* acting because the guys doing all the fights are bad actors but are actually really really great martial artists. But here we have guys who are horrible actors and equally horrible in martial arts. It doesn't make much sense. Bonus wtf points to a white guy being a stand in for the asian ninja boss in the final fight.

Fortunately the people who made the soundtrack weren't nearly as incompetent and we get a great 80's vibe from it.

In a nutshell, very little ninjas, a lot of kindergarten class insults, awful drama and horrible fight scenes. This makes most of Chuck Norris' 80's trash look good.
