First 1/2 was pretty good...

Just watched this for the first time ever... I remember seeing the "pot" scene from King Solomon's Mines a million times on HBO back in the day, but I finally got around to seeing both of these thanks to Netflix.

As expected, both were pretty terrible thanks to the low production values. But the first 1/2 of Lost City of Gold was actually pretty good. I liked the adventuring aspect through caves and such. Once the find the city... I should have skipped to the end! That should have been no more than 20 minutes, but it just dragged on and on...

And I felt practically tortured after hearing the main theme "march" (in some of the most inappropriate places) over and over and over again. I know they were cheap with the music and all but it didn't have to be repeated so often!

It would be cool if these were made again with some higher production values. I think the Quatermain adventures deserve better than these movies!
