the 'Bud Spencer knockout' seemed really out of place

this movie is totally serious out throw, but suddenly at one moment towards the battle in end, one of the soldiers does a "bud spencer type of move" and knocks two guys heads togheter.
that must be one of the most "out of place" moments ever. it didn't make any sense! it's like it went from a serious war movie to a bar room hillbilly brawl.

i got a letter, but nowhere to send home,
everyone i knew has gone,
i see fellows write to their familys, lovers and friends,
but i got noone to write to but myself,
that's why i'm singing this song,
about a lonesome drifter, without a home,
is this my destiny, a lonewolf the rest of my days,
who will know my name, when they put me in a grave,
i got no children or legacy to honor my name,
i got nothing to live for, and there's no turning back again,
i'll just keep moving on,
singing on this lonesome little song,
i got a letter, but nowhere to send home.

If ever an Alamo movie was to "Jump the Shark", that scene did it!

Thanks for the laugh!

Anytime you see a big hillbilly with a 'coon skin cap you know THERE HAS TO BE A DOUBLE HEADBANGER!
I was actually shocked it didn't happen multiple times or sooner but I guess they saved the best for last!
