Is this movie good or is it only liked for nostalgia?

Kind of want to watch it because of Elisabeth Shue but hope it la not like the Goonies where you hear people gush about it nonstop and when you watch it finally you realize it sucks and it’s only beloved for nostalgia reason

It is good and it is nostalgic. It's definitely of it's era, but that's the beauty of it coz it's wonderfully weird.

Watched it and it was a lot of fun and Elisabeth Shue is such a dream girl. If I grew up in the 80s I would want a poster of her in my room

For my part, I had never seen this until 2022 and I loved every second lol
