Brenda was an idiot!

Just call your parents to pick you up and face the music! Sad thing is, the average american girl thinks just like her.

Without Brenda not spiking her mother's Tab with Drano and going to the bus station in Chicago and not having any money to get back, there is no movie.

Why do we feel it's necessary to yak about bullsh!t in order to be comfortable?

I am not revealing my name to protect the innocent.

Actually Brenda didn't have to face the music in the end and face her father. When Brenda, the kids, and Chris got back to the Anderson's house, Chris forced Brenda to leave because the parent's would be back real soon. She pushed Brenda out the door but was she following Brenda to make sure Brenda walked home to her father? No she went and cleaned up the mess in the kitchen.Chris just wanted Brenda out of the Anderson's house.Brenda could have hid outside in the bushes instead of going home.Or maybe she did go home but maybe by the time she got home her father didn't see her that night because he was sleeping.

The average American girl thinks like her? What kind of bs is that?. Brenda was a moron but to generalize average American girls is just moronic.

Whats the matter, couldn't think of another word besides moronic? Or maybe you thought that would be clever? Well, I think it's "moronic" that you you are defending "morons". On this vast information highway and you were so angry by a random comment that you didn't bother to think. lol. Wait...that sounds like something an average American girl would do. If you are that butt-hurt about it, then maybe you should start a new feminist club and fight the war against anonymous internet opinions. LMAO! But wait, snack cakes are in the fridge, Justin Bieber is on TV, and the latest tight jeans just hit the stores....Whelp...club on hold. LOL!

Or and if you're a guy, that comment still stands, because you have no nuts! LMAO!

That whole rant you went into says a lot about you. Angry, bitter, and not smart. An American girl must have broken your heart. Now you spend your days on imdb being bitter and putting them down. I could say so many things to you right now but I won't, you're not worth it. You're just a big troll with some serious issues with American women. Get help. If you keep that attitude up no one will ever like you, American women and plenty of other non American women.

I think Brenda was a great character in the movie. One forgets that it's the same actress who co-starred in Kindergarten Cop (opposite Arnie). Penelope Ann Miller is her name.

Did anyone notice that at the beginning of the movie when she's with Chris in her bedroom, she has a very sensible side and tries to comfort Chris, yet later on in the movie, she becomes geeky and pathetic and always miserable.
Good actress though!

I always forget that that's Penelope Ann Miller behind those glasses wearing that getup. Granted, the two movies I know her most from is Carlito's Way and (now) this so you can forgive the drastically different characters throwing me off.

No Brenda , no movie.

Yeah, that would have been a short and boring movie... unless the parents had their own little misadventures while making their way to the city! Nah.

Hey there, Johnny Boy, I hope you fry!
