Observations from a 45 year old

Geez...I hated the concept of this show back in the 90's; borrowed the first season from my local library and I'm finally getting around to watching it.

DAWSON'S CREEK, GILMORE GIRLS...this. What's with the *beep* writing? Pretentious or what? Why is Michael always bitching? Hope speaks as though she's a stage actress...
