a bit of a sad legacy with this show

I don't want to call it a curse but there is a bit of a sad legacy for this show when you look at what happened to some of the cast members after the show was cancelled. David Oliver died of AIDS in 1992. Amanda Peterson never found another role as good as Sunny and left Hollywood to return to Greeley, CO, where she struggled with depression and drugs until her premature death at 43 (all of which has been documented within this past week). Trey Ames apparently dealt with drug problems while in Hollywood and left Hollywood and retired from acting because of that. Morgan Stevens was supposedly involved in a police brutality case in the early 90s where he was severely injured. As a result, he apparently left Hollywood and became kind of a recluse after that. This was such a wonderful, acclaimed series and it feels sad to see that the talented actors associated with this show had such difficult times after the show was cancelled.
