Was Season Two DVD cut?

I just watched the season Two set Prey For The City for the first time and was shocked by the episode "Last of the True Believers". I had remembered this episode as being insanely violent, but the DVD version is very tame and it only clocks in at around 45 min., that is 4 or 5 minutes shorter then most Wiseguy episodes. This was the original DVD release. Was this episode butchered or is it my imagination?
