Great guitar music in this show

Throughout the series, Werewolf had a lot of great guitar driven instrumental music. Take the Pilot for example. When Eric has his dream about Kelly coming to see him in the hospital, or over Rogan's voice over about nothing being worse than a nightmare you can't wake up from, etc..

Now from what I remember, most of the music in Werewolf was instrumentally driven and the artists from the Pilot have been cleared of blame. So do you think the artist or artists that did the guitar work for the show were the holdouts that caused the DVD release to be scrapped? This would make sense since it was originally said that the music was mixed with the audio track and that's why it couldn't be removed or replaced.
