Hasbro Universe Includes G.I. Joe, Micronauts, Visionaries, M.A.S.K. & R

Considering the poor quality of the Transformers, G.I. Joe, and Jem live action movies that have been made so far, I'm not expecting much from new movies based on Hasbro properties, but Visionaries has potential if they don't screw it up. The characters in the animated series had distinctive personalities and the stories had a bit more moral ambiguity than most TV cartoons from the 1980s. The Spectral Knights and the Darkling Lords sometimes had to work together and both sides were being used by the wizard Merklyn, whose motives were often unclear. The world of Prysmos, with its mix of magic, defunct technology, and society in transition, was interesting. The Visionaries' magic powers provide an opportunity for some stunning visual effects.
