Any chance of getting DVD's with closed-captioning, English or English SDH subtitles on this series?
shareIf they don't already exist then I doubt it. Unfortunately this series wasn't that well known at the time, or so I hear, and the only person I met who didn't hear about this from me was an old neighbor who probably also found it in reruns on TNT after school in high school back in the early aughts.
I don't think we'll ever see a remastered version, let alone subtitles.

Does it have the original soundtrack?
shareNo; I wondered what happened to "Paint it Black" when I first started on the series a couple of weeks ago, but it is a different tune from the original CBS series.
shareI think there was one DVD release which had the original music, but I know originally it didn't. I've seen reruns (streaming) with both. The music was such a big part of the show. I had heard Paint It Black before ToD, but I still associate with the show.
