Rate The Ensigns of Command - S3 E2

A decent episode, I thought the Sheliak were a unusual different look for an alien species on TNG, though they reminded me of the Melkotian in TOS. The episode features the two best characters in TNG, Picard and Data, trying to do the same thing, which is convince someone. Data needs to convince the colonists they must leave and Picard must convince the Sheliak they need to give them more time to evacuate the colonists. Both are handled well, where different forms of communications are involved, but my favorite moment is the last scene when Picard and Data are alone and they have a moment of respite and talk about Data's burgeoning creativity with a violin. 67/100
