And did you ever think that it would all end with Wil Riker and Deanna Troi?

reply

I just pretend I never saw that scene the end with the three captains and three Enterprises was great though.

reply

Was that 15 years ago? It's so cliché, but I gotta say it..."Damn, time flies".

reply

Indeed time sure flies Sithlord.

reply

Who cares, Nex? Lol. I kid.

RIP Gene Wilder. One of the funniest people of all time. RIP Matt Roberts. You were great.

reply

I do and next year I'll be doing the same for TNG's 30th Anniversary.

Well I just bought the complete series box set of Enterprise on Bluray from Amazon UK for $46.38 and that included shipping to the States. I couldn't pass that deal up, I'm not a huge fan of Enterprise but that was a damn good price for 4 seasons. They're region free Blurays and they have the exact same content as the North American versions which go for $60-$90 a season.

If I might suggest something Inspector binge watch Enterprise that gives the seasons a certain flow and use "next" if you want to avoid the openings tune  I didn't like it at first but the images behind the track are quite good now it doesn't bother me though as it kind of fits the overall journey the crew goes through.

reply

Yeah, I already binge watched the series a couple years ago when I had an Amazon Prime subscription. I thought the opening song was corny, but it grew on me after watching it a couple times. I usually start hitting "next" on my remote after about the 10th view on any tv show.

I'm buying the show on the strength of seasons 3 & 4 and I want to see the bluray extras. I honestly don't hate the series finale which was a TNG episode because it was closing out the TNG-era of Star Trek. I found the season 4 opener with the space nazis from Galactica 1980 to be worse. Overall it was an ok show that ranks above Voyager but under TOS, TNG and DS9 in my opinion.

I don't either they only should have left the Riker /Troi bit out and spend some final moments with the crew of NX-01 but I did like the final act with the three captains and Enterprises.

reply

Troi and Riker looked much older than in The Pegasus.

reply

She looked a bit saggy.

reply

I'd still bang her, I think.

I really enjoyed that show. Loved the mirror universe episode starting with the alternate first contact.

reply

Yeah that was a thing that I didn't see coming Cochrane pulling out that shotgun and blowing away that Vulcan.I was like wow if GR were alive he would not have liked that also the alternate openings credits was quite neat.

reply

Gene's already been rolling over in his urn with what's become of his beloved franchise.

reply

Definitely, Eye.
