What or who is Hana?! I don’t get it.
I’ve seen everyone in this thread writing it after the sentence. It baffles me. XD

Back in the day, when this was the IMDB forum, there was a poster who used to post on several different boards. He also posted under several different user IDs, in the pretense of being several different people. For some reason, he always signed off each post with the word 'hana'. I'm not sure anybody knew what it meant, but it always gave him away. Nobody really believed the 20 or 30 different aliases he had were different people.

I encountered him the most in The Apprentice boards. He got pretty annoying, because all his posts were about which female contestants he wanted to have sex with, he literally didn't talk about anything else. Apart from one time, where he got the hump because one contestant came out as being gay.

I think the reason people are replying to him with 'hana' is to just mock him really.

To be honest I don't think he posts on this board now it's moviechat, or I hope he doesn't. He really wasn't a nice guy.

Thanks for the clarification.
What a weird person. LoL.

I’ve been on IMDB boards for years, wasn’t much of a poster but I did visit them on a daily basis. Don’t remember coming across his posts though.

Yeah I know this is an old thread, think no one commented on it from the moviechat until now.

I guess we will know if and when he discovers moviechat is when we will start seeing new posts ending with hana. :)

I'll take it the other way around and say that it could be any of them. I don't believe there to be any one character on that show who was indispensable. But if I had to erase one of the main characters from history, it would probably be Counselor Troi.

The tried and true answer: Wesley Crusher.

Since he did nothing but push buttons, I would obviously say Wesley Crusher. SPECIAL NOTE: I have never been a Wesley Crusher "hater". I have often wished the character could have been a few years older and presented as a wet-behind-the-ears ensign who just graduated from Star Fleet. He would have been more believable.
