Sure I will make fans of the other actresses upset but personally think Tisha Campbell held her own when it came to the singing performances. Even looking back at it now (via youtube) most of the songs the girls sang had Tisha doing some sort of solo act.

Of course at the time this show came out ~ she was mainly just known for her vocal skills via doing 'Little Shop of Horrors' but I'm so glad she was given this role because it not only allowed her to continue to showcase her singing skills but also opened up the door to acting for her as well.

I loved Rose (Kimiko).
Her voice made me cry, so beautiful.

Tisha was definitely the most talented out of the girls. I've been watching the series this weekend and MAN! It's like a time machine back to the 80's as a teeny tiny little girl.

Yes, Tisha was great in both 'Little Shop of Horrors' as well as 'Rags to Riches'. I later went on to enjoy her in 'Martin', but I can't remember if she ever sang.

I also thought Kimiko had a beautiful voice.

It's funny watching her shows now because like that of 'Martin' and the one she did with Waynes brother (can't think of title) ~ she basically showcased her vocal cords in funny skits.

Such as on Martin she was trying to become a backup singer for Biggie Smalls and over did her song. Same within the other TV show where she did Karoke and over played the song.

I always thought Rose was the best singer and Diane the best dancer

I so agree about Diane being the best dancer. I rediscovered the show on Youtube. When watching the girls dance and sing, Bridget Michelle seems to put more into it than the rest. I wonder if they told her to do it or if she was just more into it than the others.

If I remember correctly I believe Bridget Michele used to be a ice skater. That could have a lot to do with her dance moves

She was and she said that she got hurt so badly that she couldn't do it anymore, so she got into dancing since it was similar.
