DVD/VHS

I think that it is almost criminal that so many miniseries are available on DVD or VHS but they completely ignore this one. I was 11 when I watched this on TV when it first came out on TV and ever since then I have wanted a copy of this for my very own. North and South and Thorn Birds are out on DVD why can't this one be?

I am unfamiliar with this website.

I agree with you. I would also like to purchase this series on DVD. I presume you have researched this?

If it is not possible to purchase, how does one find out when the movie will be aired on TV?

I also agree that this should be available on DVD. I have researched this and so far, nada. I would go to some tv listings online and see if it is going to be on anytime soon. I doubt that it would be but you never know.

Actually in the years since it came out they would show it somewhere about every three or four months. I have not seen it listed recently but watch for it on Armand's Imdb site - Misc. then to Monthly TV info. It has never been put out on video so any one on Ebay would be a copy from TV. I taped it from TV but would sure like to have a DVD.

Warner Home Archive has just issued this mini-series as a "burned on demand" DVD-R release.

Just bought the DVD off ebay for $20some. Like you I was 11 when i saw it. I saw it once more after that, like the following year, but never again. I just opened the package and am getting ready to watch it. So excited! :)

I got my copy from Turner classic movies online shop. Excellent quality!!!! Fairly reasonable cost-wise. Purchased it this past winter.
