Nicole's School

I'm just watching this series now for the first time. In the second episode it looks like Nicole is going to a private school with uniforms, but we never see her in the uniform again for most of the season. Is this a contunuity error? Did she change schools and the writers/other characters never mentioned it? Thanks to anyone who can help.
