This was actually a good show.

It was a bit TOO smart for audiences that wanted to watch Growing Pains or Who's the Boss? Needs to be on DVD.

I thought it was really good. I would have liked to see John Ritter in more movies. He was like Gene Wilder in the sense that he seemed to project some genuine warmth. Not too many actors/ actresses can do that.

Ritter did do a lot of movies it's on his bio. He did some good and some bad ones. I think he wasted or should I say Hollywood wasted part of his talent with some of the movies they offered him.

"Hooperman" was great, it showed that he was a great drama actor when the role called for it.

Agreed. You should check out Hero At Large, and especially Sling Blade.

This was not just a good show, it was a better show. The characters who were supposed to be likable really were. And the bad guys were really bad, within comedy limitations.

It has been gone for more than twenty years, and I shall never forget the classic, masterful low speed pursuit through the hospital corridors IV bags in tow.

Ritter may have been born into a showbiz family but he rose above that.

It was a rather decent half hour comedy drama which was unusual, but did not run as long as I thought it did.

Its that man again!!
