GSM is Excellent. My Dad taped it for me

Is this one of the best series just screaming out for a DVD treatment? Yep! I know it's excellent. My Dad was nice enough to tape this for me. I had heard it was excellent, but I was out of town, so he taped it for me. I've watched the series a few times. I've recognized some of the actors years later. It truly is a landmark series. Ian Holm is just magnificent as the world-weary spy who is now married to a cunning woman. He's forced to go back to the spy game in East Berlin after years of being out of the game. Someone is rolling up the spy network he and his team spent years establishing. Could there be a mole in HQ?

Is it on a par with Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, which IS out on DVD? I think it is.
