michelle forced jesse to live in the attic

good for her

reply

Utterly pathetic, Jesse was so whipped by Michelle. He lives in an attic all so he won't make her cry. That's almost as pathetic as Joey not trying hard in his hockey game because he thought it would scare Michelle.

It’s wrong to allow a 6 year old to dictate your life

Can't speak for the other poster, but I used to watch the show when I was a kid. I was 10 when Full House ended in 1995. Then from about 1995-2000 my friends and I used to watch it just to laugh at how stupid it was and have a bunch of inside jokes about it lol

No one forced him. Michelle didn't hold him at gun point to
make him stay. That's a decision he made all on his own. He could've left anytime he wanted. But chose not to.

You tell 'em!

Besides, I remember it as being Becky's idea that they should live in Danny's attic.

It was

reply

No she did NOT

No. Michelle played no part in that. Uncle Jesse was getting married and both he and Becky wanted to continue living with his brother-in-law's family. So the house magically got a large, comfy, fully finished attic that nobody ever talked about before that season.

If anything, it as DJ who talked Danny into letting her switch rooms with Michelle so she could have a bedroom to herself (which strangely enough, used to be Jesse's room in the first season). She was basically an older teenager who was tired of sharing her room with her pre-teen sister and felt Stephanie would be able to handle having Michelle as a room-mate better than a teenage sister.

That story arc was a reference to 'Flowers in the Attic'.
