Fireman's Carry by Female Guest? (Unsolved)

A thread over on the "I Need to Know" board bumped an old memory loose. I remember a female guest character using the fireman's carry (across the shoulders) to rescue the male lead from a fire. I think it was from this show during the first 2 seasons. Does anyone know which episode I'm thinking of? The woman was white with short, dark hair and an athletic build.

ETA: IIRC, she resembled Lucinda Dickey from the Breakin' movies, though it wasn't her.

It's all like some bad movie.

Ryan was such a wimp loser that he was often either beaten up, or knocked out. The big Canadian girls with the ugly faces are used to carrying their men home, and I think what you remember happened at least 3-4 times on this show.

reply

Hmm, thanks.

Still trying to narrow it down. I also remember that the actress had been in a few other things around the same time. Her career seemed to be taking off, though I think it finally fizzled out.

wasn't she his love interest in the Quilt of Hathor episodes? I think that is the girl. She was pretty, relatively tall, square shoulders.

reply

I only saw part of the episode, but I don't think it was "Quilt of Hathor". The woman was dressed in casual street clothes, not the style worn by the sect in Hathor.

Maybe Wax Magic?

The wax museum owner and Ryan got in a fight, and somehow, the lantern fell on the hay and caused the fire. The lady pushed Ryan away and sort sacrificed her life in the fire. She did not carry Ryan on her shoulder, though.

reply

No, she definitely carried the man out. IIRC, she resembled Lucinda Dickey from the Breakin' movies, though it wasn't her. (I'll add that to the first post.)

Thanks for trying.
