Piano song in 'The Piano' sketch of the 1988 christmas special

Hi, I have googled this question with no luck... Does anyone know the song played by the man who just walks up to the piano on the beach (F + S are eating somehting) and just starts playing it? He plays a lively song and looks very happy, smiling at the camera every so often.

I don't know. But it's woth bearing in mind that The Piano didn't come out until 1993, so it was very peculiar that F & S featured it in their 1988 Christmas Special. Of course this is yet another IMDb error - this special was from 1994.

I have no idea what the song is called, but I think the guy playing the piano is Russ Conway and I think its one of his songs.

I would love to know if this is available on DVD

THanks... regarding the date... I am sorry I had no way of officially knowing of the year it was made... the dvd I had rented didn't really say and the IMDB site is no real help...

In any event I loved the tune.
