Goof?

I'm sure in one episode Richie (Rik Mayall) addresses Eddie (Adrian Edmonson) as "Vivian" - Vivian being the name of Edmonson's character in The Young Ones of course. On the other hand I haven't seen this show for 15 years, so I could be mistaken.

I've seen episodes of 'Filthy, Rich and Catflap' several times recently, and I have never heard Rik address Ade as 'Vivian' - But I may have missed it?

reply

Hmm, maybe I'm thinking of "Bottom" with Rik and Adrian.

I think I found what you were thinking of. In the episode involving the paternity test and the dead milkmen, Rik calls Adrian "Edwin" at one point (instead of Edward).

Ive never heard him say it myself but I remember someone on JC's board mention it...

It says on the Playback DVD case, 3 hours and 24 minutes at the back in small writing. It is towards the bottom of the case, underneath Rik's picture. Where is the extra 24 minutes on the dvd though, or have I got my maths wrong? LOL Daryl x

reply

I think the total running time is 3hours 24mins, because each episode is about 35mins long not 30mins!

My brother always posts on this site. *beep* Daryl!!!

Yeah, thanks a lot Aaron, my brother who went under my screen-name for that silly comment. Cono to you, bro.

Anyway, I wish they could have added lots of extras to the dvd of FRAC. :)

I think 'Edwin' is just Richie trying to talk in a fancy Shakespearean way
