Ellen

Didn't Ellen DeGeneres appear on this show?

reply

No, she appeared in the spin off show, "Open House".

I like Solitaire ok... that is, unless I got someone to play with.

Actually, I think Ellen did appear in one episode where they went to the real estate agency's office (which turned out to be a precursor for Open House). I can't remember the title of the episode but I'm pretty sure it was in the last season of duet. HTH Roger

Ellen De Generes did appear in several episodes of this show. She was the secretary/receptionist in a realtor's office. That is the very first time I saw her. And I always wonder how come no one ever mentions having seen her here when they talk about things like where famous stars got their starts, e.g. George Clooney on Roseanne and Sisters, Brad Pitt on Growing Pains etc.

Mary Page was stunningly beautiful on this show, but Ellen was gorgeous, quiet, funny. Her part was like a prop, where they pulled her string and she said some bland thing that was funny, with great delivery. But she made the most of it, and I wanted more.
Luckily, I got it. But she was never (as much of) that shy quipster again.

Does anyone else around here see a resemblence between Duet and Mad About You?
I always thought of Duet as a sort-of pre-cursor to Mad About You, even though both were completely different shows.

What in the wide wide world of sports is'a goin' on around here?!
