Great show, what killed it.

That didn't bother me -- I didn't like it when the focus started to shift from Ben and Laura to Alison La Placa & Chris Lemmon (I can't remember their characters' names). The La Placa character, in particular, was too broad and one note to be the focus of the show. The character was funny in small doses, but wasn't dimensional enough to be the centerpiece. And it felt weird and manipulative, like you get the audience involved in Ben and Laura, then move them to the background?
