Because the girl obviously couldn't afford a brush. Her hair looked like she combed it with a hand mixer.

That was the style in the 80s big hair.

Yeah I know. I was there and it was terrible. But "big" and "big fat tangled mess" are still two different things.

Don't we feel like the deaf deserve better movies?

It's good that they got rid of her. She was an ill fit like Bonet.

Agreed! Bonet and Tomei were incredibly awkward in this show...I was very happy to see them go; especially Bonet.
