A bit strange, yes. I thought they were just supporters of a Varsovian team or something. As for the above theory, it might make sense if this film was shot 10 years earlier.
I wonder whether the group of supporters were deliberately concluded and were part of the filming process. And if so, why? Do they symbolise Jacek's detached, indifferent attitude towards the society around him?
