US television network NBC will remake the Polish 1980s miniseries.
The NBC adaptation is set in Boston and will be directed by Todd Ellis Kessler.
what are your opinions on this remake ? is needed or not,
who would you add to the cast?
I only think remakes can work, when they do it better or differently. I don't see how you could make dekalog better, so they better do it differently. We'll just have to wait and see.

shareI have just finished watching the masterpiece that is the original and I can not imagine a remake. Why do they always have to mess with perfection ? They will have to pull one heck of a rabbit out of a hat to match or even surpass this cinematic treasure. I'm interested to see how this pans out however, at the same time I am disappointed they are attempting to remake.
