Gary Goddard and others are more than hinting that Captain Power is getting a reboot, most likely with a new name: Phoenix Rising.

ON Thursday 9/27 I was visiting my friend, Rob Burnett at the offices of Gary Goddard Productions. Rob knew I was a Masters of the Universe fan, and told me that he'd love to introduce me to Gary, but Gary was currently in a meeting. Well, I was there for a while, and eventually Gary's meeting ended so I did get to meet him.
The very next day I read on Aint it Cool News that Gary Goddard had just finished a deal to bring Captain Power back as Phoenix Rising. All I could think was, "Holy crap! That must have been the meeting he was in when I was over there!!". I'll never know for sure, but I'd like to believe that when the 'Phoenix Rising' deal was finalized, I was in the very next room :)
