Maybe life is a dream and we wake up when we die?
I doubt it. I am thinking he. At wake up with amnesia. Though to what end I'm nor sure. Maybe Quinn will then help him 'regain his memory' with stories about how awful his children and grandchildren are (well they are!) and turn him against them.
I base that on nothing however.
