How did it End? Was there a final episode to conclude it?

I use to believe the "I Scarab" episodes were the series end. That was the episode where Scarab takes over the world by using a brainwashing device, broadcasting a signal that made everyone fanatically loyal to Scarab but bionic people where immune. Naturally, Scarab had the Six captured. Prof Sharp was living inside the robot ape, thus protected from Scarab love. He gathered previous 6 guest characters (The blind bionic scientist, a shape shifter of questionable morals and 4-robot band) to free them. Then in order to destroy the brainwashing device, the bionic 12 had to fight there way onto the White House Lawn, where the Six needed to power up. Great end fight with a nice happy ending for all (Blind bionic became a super spy for gov, the band robots were repaired, and the questionable shape shifter was offered a pardon but no one could find him). Seemed perfect note to end the series. But apparently the series continued.

Does anyone know what happened afterwards?

It ended about as perfect of a way possible. They did a Looney Tunes type episode where they become cartoon characters. Kind of a bummer it ended but the last part of the episode has a pig character pops out and says "that's all folks". Best cartoon of the 80's and in my opinion ever put on TV. Highest quality animation, decent stories, probably the best villains (Dr. Scarab) in cartoons and the best assortment of voice actor you could get.

That was a fun episode. I liked the mix of animation styles.

Bionic Six was one of the most visually impressive animated series on TV in the 1980s. The animation was done by the Japanese studio TMS, which also worked on The Adventures of the Galaxy Rangers, Visionaries, and the early, better-looking episodes of DuckTales.

TMS Entertainment was perhaps already contracted by Warner Brothers to do animation for TAZ-Mania , Tiny Toons etc so they made this Looney Tunes nod
