Other vincents

THis is just a theory I had from long ago after I finished the series. I remember how there was this one episode where some voodoo people were painting a picture of some demon god that looked like Vincent. Voodoo is an ancient religion. I also remember how people would speak of Vincent as if he was a throwback to an earlier time. Now the series ended with him having a child. Thus I hypothesize that Vincent really is a throwback. That aeons ago there was another like him, and that aeon's from now one of his son's descendants will inherit whatever made him special. BTW I always thought that the child was concieved of this magical bond, which according to father, transcended time, space, and the laws of physics. Probably not but it was a cool theory to me.

Many sagas involve a reincarnating hero and the myth becomes a cycle. Link from the Legend of Zelda, possibly Jon Snow from Game of Thrones, and now they’re saying instead of the chosen one, Anakin and perhaps even rey from star wars could be more like a recurring dalai lama rather than Jesus. The thing about fairy tales and particularly this show was that a lot of it is left unexplained, and that is part of its appeal and charm, so we can only speculate.

I wasn't happy to see Linda leave the show but she has a right and I wished her happiness. The fact that their son was conceived through their bond was so amazing that it made up for the loss of Catherine. I wished that there was a whole other series based on young Jacob and his beauty. Maybe he inherits his father's beastly ways but unlike him he can walk in public but he only gets into beast mode when he falls in love with his beauty and senses she is in danger.

i thought that would be what they'd do with the remake.

They could have done it without the names.
