Special appearance by Peter DeLuise?

The final episode listed that there would be a special appearance by Peter DeLuise. Did anybody actually see him except for the footage during the credits at the beginning of the show and at the end of the show? Did I miss something?

Apart from the opening and closing credits, DeLuise most definitely does not appear in that episode. So who knows why he was listed in it.
