What is your favourite season and why?

I have only seen the first two seasons and wondering if maybe I should buy the rest of the series. Maybe you can help me out. :-)

Well I bought all five seasons in one set for super cheap. Im almost done with season 5, which the story lines are actually very good and I was pleasantly surprised by. Depending why you enjoy the show, like if you only watch it to see Johnny Depp you might want to just stop after season 2 as he starts to disappear from random episodes throughout seasons 3 & 4. Still there are some of the best episodes of the series in 3 & 4. Hope that helps, let me know if you have anymore specific questions. Seriously Im hooked on this friggin show!

As a person who watched the original fox broadcasts in the early 90s Ill say from experience that the show peaked in season 2 and 3. Decent plots and acting. It really started to tank about midway through season 4. 5, IMO, wasnt even worth watching.

But if you liked 5, hey, more power to you.

The first two seasons are the good ones. Hanson starts disappearing from season 3 and on (because he was tired of the series already) and you have more Booker than Hanson. Also From season 3 the stories become repetitive and there are many episodes just for padding.

1 & 2 were good, 3 was the best, 4 really dropped off & 5 was horrible. The writing & acting in 5 were really bad. They went through several different new cops to replace Hanson & Ioki. The first 2 episodes of season 5, even used the intro from season 4 (including the casting rather than acknowledge the 2 who wouldn't last beyond those 2 episodes). You can watch it all on Hulu, but keep in mind that they list the end of season 4 as the beginning of season 5.

Season 3 was my favorite season of the series. Why, you may ask? Two words - Richard Grieco!!! He brought something to the table that was severely lacking. I was a huge Johnny Depp fan from the beginning but when Richard Grieco entered the scene as Booker, I went from the clean cut babyfaced boy to sex in a leather jacket. He was sooooooooooo hot & his episodes were some of the best of the series. LOVED seeing him smolder onscreen!!!

I have all seasons but the last one. I just can't do it without Depp.

idk about my most favorite season. I like snippits from each season.

I'm only half way through season 3 and i've got to say seasons 1 and 2 are farrrrrr better then. There are many reasons for this the predominant one being I HATE Booker. Also the story lines have become a lot more intense and in some cases just annoying. Seasons 1 and 2 had a lot of serious episodes that delved into serious issues but they were really fun and enjoyable to watch. Contemplating weather or not to download season 4 and 5...

Season 3...thanks to Richard Grieco's legendary character Booker! Season 2 is also great, featuring better storylines, more character development, and cool guests.

Season 4&5 are the lamest IMO

Second half of season one is good too

Enjoyed the shows entire run. Season 3 was my favorite and had the best season finale too.

Season 1, I like Jenko instead of Fuller, I like having just the original 4 cops, and the opening theme is better in the beginning.
